Message from the Headmistress

The true art of education is a lifelong journey of growth and transformation. At Holy Cross Girls High School, our continuous endeavor is not only to impart knowledge but also to nurture in our students a deep desire for goodness, an eagerness for learning, a capacity for meaningful friendships, an appreciation of beauty, and a genuine concern for others. These values make our institution unique and truly special. Here, students are given opportunities to grow in all dimensions, with holistic development placed above all else.

Blessed Basil Moreau, the founder of the Congregation of Holy Cross, emphasized the importance of holistic education when he stated, “We shall always place education side by side with instruction; the mind will not be cultivated at the expense of the heart.” Inspired by this vision, Holy Cross Girls High School is committed to educating young women who embody knowledge, character, compassion, and hope—empowering them to become responsible individuals ready to serve society with courage and love.

As we nurture unique values and promote women’s leadership, we proudly celebrate our 75th Anniversary on January 11, 2026, marking our Platinum Jubilee with the theme: “Honoring the Past and Inspiring the Future.” Throughout its long journey, the school has profoundly influenced many lives, contributed significantly to education, and played a vital role in empowering women and shaping future leaders.

Our mission is to guide students to grow morally, intellectually, and spiritually, cultivating noble character and deepening their faith and trust in the Creator. We envision our students as individuals who possess a strong desire to serve humanity and care for all of creation. They learn to collaborate with diverse communities and embrace core values such as self-confidence, respect, tolerance, eagerness for knowledge, appreciation of beauty, and concern for the poor and for all of God’s creation.
We remain dedicated to serving humanity by providing intellectual, moral, and spiritual education. The values instilled through this holistic learning foster faith, hope, and courage, preparing our students to make meaningful contributions to society.
